How to cook broccoli

Broccoli can be cooked in a variety of ways, including boiling, steaming, sautéing, roasting, and grilling. Here are some popular methods:

  1. Boiling: Start by cutting the broccoli into florets and boiling them in a pot of water for 2-3 minutes. Drain and season with salt and pepper, or any other seasoning of your choice.

  2. Steaming: Start by cutting the broccoli into florets and steaming them for 2-3 minutes. Drain and season with salt and pepper, or any other seasoning of your choice.

  3. Sautéing: Start by cutting the broccoli into florets and sautéing them in a pan with butter or oil for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, or any other seasoning of your choice.

  4. Roasting: Start by cutting the broccoli into florets, toss them with oil, salt, and pepper. Roast in a preheated oven at 200C/400F for about 15-20 minutes, or until tender.

  5. Grilling: Start by cutting the broccoli into florets, toss them with oil, salt, and pepper. Grill for 2-3 minutes, or until lightly charred.

Note: Broccoli can also be eaten raw, it can be added to salads, sandwiches, or used as a crudité.
