When is cauliflower in season?
Cauliflower is typically in season in the UK from late summer through to early spring, with peak season typically from September to February. However, due to modern farming techniques, it can be available year-round in some places.
Cauliflower is a cool weather crop, and it grows best when temperatures are between 60-65F (15-18C) during the day and 50-55F (10-13C) during the night. It also does well in humid climates. The cauliflower heads should be harvested when they are firm and white, before the buds start to open.
